Brief History Baykan Group has been founded in 1987 with targets for providing services in Heating and Air conditioners industry. The company was first established with the name ‘Skos Engineering and Contracting Company’ and the efforts which started on project based enterprises and undertakings expanded and proceeded to sales of boilers, radiators and spare parts to the companies in the sector. Following the opening of the second store in Baðcýlar in 1997, the company started to becoming a brand.and acquired a manufacturer identity with the clamps they fabricated under the name ‘Baykan’. During the same year, the LPG conversions of approximately 70.000 cars have successfully been performed as the mercantile agency acquired from Italy under the name ‘Kargaz Automobile Gas Systems’. Baykan commenced their importation and sales activities of air conditioners with the Amena air conditioners imported from Hong Kong. In short time, the company gained a reputation as a ‘company which does not compromise from service and quality’ in the industry. The new identity became ‘Your Heating and Air Conditioner Engineer’ with the launch of wall hung boilers which the company made the Italian Merloni Group manufacture in 2001. Our radiator manufacturing facilities have been established in 2002 in Ýkitelli Industrial Estate having an annual production capacity of 250.000 meters by the joint venture of Baykan Isý Sistemleri A.Þ and the German partnership. We are going to become a leader radiator manufacturer in the global field by manufacturing 1.200.000 meters of panel radiators annually. Currently our radiator facilities have been carrying on their production with 100% of Baykan’s own capital. Baykan Group has taken giant steps forward with the target of becoming a ‘Global Brand’ by completing the construction of company’s combi boiler manufacturing factory established on an area of 50.000 m2 within the borders of Province of Düzce Organized Industrial Estate and the factory has gone into operation following the assembly of production lines. Baykan has penetrated wall hung boilers market of Turkey with a capacity of 20.000 – 24.000 and AY (MOON), YILDIZ (STAR), and EKO models currently manufactures the new models; YILDIZ (STAR), YILDIZ-PLUS (STAR PLUS) and SUN and these models are being widely used without problem sor complaints from customers in domestic market proving that Baykan is the right choice. Production of 50.000 can be accomplished in a single shift in our Düzce Facilities as the Baykan trademark and our factory has an annual capacity of maximum 300.000 wall hung boilers. Our factory is one of the largest facilities in area in Europe and Turkey and highest technology in world is being performed and implemented. Following their assembly, our wall hung boilers are packaged after computer controlled tests have been conducted. Another feature of our production lines is that the products which fail the said test are directed to another line by the computers in order to be controlled and examined again thus manufacturing defects are prevented. Our company also utilizes its own advanced test and research and development laboratories. All products on the production lines of Düzce production lines are exported to all over the world under the brand name ‘Baykan’. Baykan Group’s motto is customer satisfaction hence with the concept of no boundaries of service, the 7 Days/ 24 Hours Mobile Service Project is currently being implemented. This Project lays special emphasis on Customer Satisfaction thus the number of satisfied customers has been increased and the costs have started diminishing. By means of this Project which is currently being carried out in Ýstanbul, Ankara and Bursa shall expand to wider areas in Turkey. Production of solid fuel fired boilers, natural gas clamps and radiator valves is carrying on in our Ýkitelli facilities accelerating. We are aiming to expand our exportation activities to all over the world which is currently continuing in Romaine, Bulgaria, Italy, T.R.N.C., Greece, Jordan, Letonia, Russia, Ukraine, Moldavia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan with 16 companies, 30 partners, showrooms and centers all over Turkey and 420 dealers and in addition the company centre established in Romania, (Baykan S.R.L.) and 20 dealers and Bywarm companies in Italy.
