GENERAL FEATURES

Up To 30% Lower Gas Bill

Corolla combi boilers can recover a major part of the lost heat by condensing the flue gas. The flue gases which are cooled until the are below the condensation point (54 °C) are condensed and they leave their heat to the combi boiler, which provides up to 109.2% efficiency. The consumers can feel it directly with up to 30% lower gas bill compared to conventional combi boilers.
Real High Efficiency

Many people fall into the mistake of thinking that the efficiency of a combi boiler are always equal to what is written in the technical data sheet; however, theese values are valid only for a short period of the year when the combi boiler runs in full capacity. Actually, a combi boiler is almost always used with a low or medium adjustment value and in that case, it can be seen that the efficiencyof conventional combi boilers are 20 to 35% lower than that of condensing combi boilers.

Baykan Corolla Condensing Combi Boiler's Principle Of Working

The combustion circuit is made of tinplate and it is seperated from the environment. The air and gas mixture is pushed to the burner by a strong fan; A short flame created by the combustion section immediately communicates with the exchanger and always guarantees an efficiency higher then 98%.

The high heat transfer surface area enables an intense heat exchange between the gases that occur due to the combustion in the exchanger and  the water circulation in the central heating circuit. The temperature of the flue gas decreases down to the condensing temperature and the flue gas, which is almost cooled down at that point (only 3°C higher than the circulation water temperature of the device) is discharged by a 50 mm diameterpolypropylene pipe, while the condensing water is collected in a container with siphon and then it is discharged.

Exchanger Basically  Consists Of Theese :

  • Micro-flame burner
  • AISI 316 L steel collecting group
  • A pipe made of bimetal : Copper inside (water circuit) and steel outside (gas circuit)
  • It is coiled spirally in the group
  • A cylindrical case which retains the heat in the combustion chamber and touches it to the pipe that ensures a perfect thermal cycling of the flue gas.

 Full Modulation

These combi boilers benefit from the principle of discharged gas condensation, which is an effective and fundamental physical phenomenon. Thanks to our bimetal alternative, as well as other mechanisms that adjust the combustion and provide high temperature output during going and returningi the following mechanisms provide gas condensation at any type of devices (even at conventional ones) :

Modulation fan; the speed can be adjusted momentarily for the power requested to be exercised.

Modulation gas valve ; always guarantees the correct air-gas relation in the combustion chamber.

Modulation pump; adjusts the cycle of the thermal liquid circulating in the exchanger according to the temperature increase between the intake and outlet.

Available at all models; these devices enable momentary adjustment of the air, water and hydraulic circulation according to the selected heat adjustment and ensure the perfect operation of the combi boiler.

 Control System

Corolla 26-35 models are available with "soft touch" buttons and digital screen which enable adjusting the temperature very simply unlike the outdated push buttons. With this panel, the benefical parameters for the electronic control system of the combi boiler are loaded and its fast and efficient functionning is obtained.
