Efficiency Most people mistakenly believe that the
efficincy of an atmospheric wall hung boiler
matches the technical data tables. However,
those values only count for a short period of
the year when the combi boiler works at a high
capacity. In fact, a combi boiler generally
works at a low or moderate capacity so the
efficiency of a traditional combi boiler is
about 10% to 25% lower when compared to that of
a condensing combi boiler.
Baykan condensing combi boilers can obtain a
large amount of the latent heat through the
condensing of flue gases. The vapour in the flue
gases whose heat goes down below the condensing
value condenses and releases its heat into the
combi boiler. This results in an efficiency of
about 107,4%.
